“The law enforcement community is helping us all,” she told a news conference on August 14. “I want everyone to know that law enforcement is using all logical and reasonable investigative techniques to find Marilyn,” she added. “I want people to know that we are doing our best.” Authorities at the moment have “no reason to believe that any criminal activity already exists,” Larson said.

Adam Carter made a plea earlier in the video posted to the Find Marilane Facebook page, seeking volunteers with boats with sonars and experience navigating the Mississippi River.
“That would be a huge help to us as we’re attempting to rule out the worst possible-case scenario,” he said.
